St. Margarets House is an independent
charity established in Bethnal Green in 1889 to serve both the local
and wider community.
Our Settlement is comprised of three Georgian Houses;
an Edwardian extension; a small modern office block; ex-factory
premises; a portacabin; a shop and a chapel. These buildings enclose
our Victorian flower garden.
We have two community halls; two large meeting rooms;
forty-six general office/counselling/activity rooms for projects
and user groups; two day centres; a thriving community arts workshop
and a cafe.
